JOHN REX FUQUA
Land Specialist
An Atlanta native, John Rex graduated from The Lovett School and The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, majoring in History and minoring in Geography. John Rex recently moved back East after spending two years living and working in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As the Orvis store’s Assistant Manager, John Rex was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the main sales floor and supervising sales associates. Under his management, the store achieved the highest summer sales numbers in its history.
Before moving to Wyoming, John Rex was a Field Engineer for Holder Construction Company, where he measured and marked locations for critical building structures using the complex Leica Geosystem tools. He is proud to say one of his projects included working on the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
As a Land Specialist for Macallan Real Estate, John Rex specializes in the acquisition and disposition of large land tracts across the southeast.
John Rex is currently active in both Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, and YPO Next Generation Atlanta. In his free time, John Rex enjoys golf, cooking, and traveling. He is an avid outdoorsman who spends time fly fishing and hunting with his friends and family.
